Dr. Andrew Barnstein received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Johns Hopkins University, and obtained his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He went to his cardiology fellowship at University of Pennsylvania and completed an extra year of echocardiography fellowship training at University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Dr. Barnstein’s area of expertise include: clinical cardiology, echocardiography, and management of valvular heart disease. He provides hospital coverage at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
