Dr. Paresh Shah is a Cardiac Electrophysiologist and Cardiologist and oversees the pacemaker/ICD clinic at Woodholme Cardiovascular Associates. He completed his Electrophysiology Fellowship at the University of Maryland in 2004, and his Cardiology Fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia in 2002. He sees both Electrophysiology and general Cardiology patients in consultation at both locations in Pikesville and Westminster.
Dr. Shah completed his undergraduate degree in Biophysics locally at Johns Hopkins University in 1992, followed by completion of his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia in 1996. His Internal Medicine training was completed at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA in 1999.
Dr. Shah performs a broad spectrum of interventional electrophysiology procedures including pacemakers, leadless pacemakers, ICD’s, Bi-V ICD’s, ablations, electrophysiology studies, and tilt table tests. He also performs the WATCHMAN procedure which allows patients to come off blood thinners. He is board certified in both Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
Dr. Shah was elected President of Woodholme Cardiovascular Associates in July of 2017.
