After any device including pacemaker, ICD, or implantable loop recorder is implanted, many of our patients are followed in our device clinic. The clinic is manned by our device nurse and is overseen by our Cardiac Electrophysiologist. Expect the first visit after implantation to last a few minutes longer as the Device nurse will examine the incision, interrogate the device and answer any additional questions the patient may have. Follow up visits are generally efficient and quick and typically last 15 minutes. We see patients in the device clinic in both the Woodholme and Westminster offices.
